A GEC Tidioute # 23 liner lock in Burnt Grizzly Bear!
Here she is next to my #73 in Tractor Green.

Looks like somebody's been paying attention to what I've been looking at!
Now THAT's a good woman!

I know... I was floored. I honestly had no idea this was coming.
I actually sold a pretty nice knife recently to by her gift (British Hunter rain boots... she's been wanting those for awhile. She went crazy this morning...).
Up until this morning, I had another knife up for sale here on BF, with remarks that I'd take a GEC #23 on trade...
Close call!

Those pictures really show how MASSIVE the 23 knives are! Dwarfs the 73 and they are not exactly a shrinking violet either.

As for the British Hunters, I've had a pair of those 'green wellies' for 15 years and they are only just beginning to wear out. A real investment and a Traditional touch too!
 
Great Pics and Congrats to the new owner of the Burnt Grizzly. That handle material is my favorite and I carry one just like you received.

Yeah that #23 is going to be a great EDC. I really did not expect it to be that big in comparison! I'm really surprised I don't see more of the burnt grizzly... it's fantastic.
 
hey coyja this was the 2nd gec i ordered. a handful for sure. ca'nt help but think of campfires with deer hanging close. this one will do it all. great addition.dennis

Took it to work today to let everyone drool over it...
Oh yeah, one of the trips we made on valentines day was to Gander Mtn... where I picked up a used Glock 23. Best Valentines Day EVER.
