http://www.extremely-sharp.com/es/catalog/30269.html its a weird thing eh i see how it works but i wonder if you could manipulate it

It's called a "Jacob's Ladder" Knife, for some reason. There are manipulation techniques for them. I've seen it done, but don't know how myself.

It ain't got that swing so...

Cold Steel has been making something very similar for years under the name Triple Action Folders. You can fling the knife open fairly easily, and a quick rotation of the wrist will fold the outside handle into the inner handle leaving the balde exposed and locked. Closing it is a lot more difficult, and I've never got around to mastering it. The tricky part is to swing the blade into the inner handle FIRST, then close the knife. Another common name for them is Tri-Fold knives, and they were very popular in France in the earlier part of this century.

You can check them out on Cold Steel's Website:

Click Folding Knives, and then the right arrow on bottom.

why isn't it a gravity knife you open it with one hand wiht the help of gravity. :) . i dunno i just did post a pic man its no worries

Because gravity alone wouldn't open the knife.

There are plenty of one handed openers that aren't gravity knives. A brand new Benchmade with an AXIS lock, for instance. you touch the lock, and the blade can fall into place. but it's not a gravity knife.

hey, how does he post pics without a gold membership?

The old fashioned way. You have to host them on another site first. Then, above and to the left of where you type your post is a link that says, "help". It's right after "vB Code." Click that and the instructions are there.

I have the tanto triple action, and I really don't suggest it when flipping it open and closed.

Mainly because I snapped alot of the teeth off of the serrations.

But all in all it is a pretty decent folder, but I wish cs made a real butterfly knife.

I do wish Cold Steel would try one...Oh heck...anyone for that matter  ...but the Cold Steel what-ever-it-is isn't a great flipper.

That is the Jacob's Ladder I had when I was a teenager and I have no idea why they are referring to it as a G-Knife as others have pointed out, it's not.

Here you go, read this.

When I was a Moderator at BFC I changed it as I was having some unique problems with a couple of little vermin...that's all. Can't do anything with it now if I wanted to. Not that I do.
