The other day I posted on this Forum on a Cheyanne thread about my knife.I mentioned that the lock up was not as good as I know it should and could be.It was only locking every third or fourth time.My intent was not to trash anyone but to find the adress of my dealer.I love the knife and wanted to see if he could help me out.Well this morning I awake to find a message from Jim himself asking me to send The knife back so he could take care of it!!As I was responding I was contacted by Ray Jay (who I have dealt with)and Bob Marsh the guy I got it from!!Both offered their assistance.
I think this speaks volumes about the service that all of these guys offer. But to be contacted by Jim.....I think that says it all about this company.I'll be ordering my Diamondback soon.(After Christmas anyway!!)

That is very good news.
I was a litte concerned when I saw your post, but I figured that it was the rare exception to the quality that I have heard about repeatedly.
I have had similar problems with other autos, and it was always a matter of the button not returning to the "out" position.
Did you take the knife apart?
I wonder if the spring that pushes the button up is slightly out of place.
Since it closes sometimes I don`t think the blade is out of line with the button.
What kind of handles do you have on yours?
I think that is a feature that is outstanding.(interchangable handles)
Thanks for the post as it completelyeases my mind as to service if it is needed.

Rich...That is exactly what is happening, the button doesn't come back up after firing. As to your question on if I took it apart....I'm one of those guys whose hands are better as feet.Rock hands.Yes.Service is top shelf.Imagine ,a call from the maker within 16 hours!

as my friend Nakano would say:

JB is on the ropes. They can`t do as promised, even if they were so disposed.Their grasp exeeded their reach.

Sarge,

You must lead an awfully small life to keep at it like this.

Got news for you pal, you've proven yourself a horse's patut many times over. Its' time to stop.

It's embarrasing to have you on the forums.

When I had trashed my cheyenne beyond usability, Jim took care of it no questions asked. I will have to step in and give Jim credit. He didn't have to help me out. He stood by his product even when the customer (me) had a complete dumbass attack. Jim is all right.
