A new knife , :)

On packing slip(?) it says "Assembled in USA from parts made in USA and other countries."

China might it be? I don't have enough to go on.

It is a BuckLite MAX. It says on the blade 'USA.' Along with 'Buck,' and '484 {and a funny C-like figure}.'
Three.

And how about the clip? I see no way to remove screws and take the clip off so pro'ly I'm just stuck with it.

Footnote:
Actually BuckLite Max Small, is the model. Normally $16 but I found it for 12. Very light. Am tickled pink. :) :) !
Total thumbs up. All three of them.

If the funny C figure includes a dot, then it's the blade marking denoting 2011 manufacture, not China =P

The knives are made in the US, the sheaths are made in China.

You have a great knife there. The Bucklite Max line is one of Buck's sleeper models, in my opinion. Inexpensive, extremely lightweight, comfortable in the hand and a great blade profile.

The Max doesn't come with a sheath, so it can't be that. I suspect that the handle/frame is the part made in China.

I agree, they are very nice for their price. I love mine.

belt clip is made off shore along with the eyelets. No sheath comes with this one.. The handles, blade, rocker etc is all US

Thank you Mr. Hubbard. Its always good to see your posts, good accurate information. DM
