I had a request for pics of my new CRK Hat that I purchased along with my 28 Year Mark IV. Rather than fill that thread up with pics of a Hat, I will just start a new thread.........

Hat Review.......lol.

Navy Blue heavy duty hat, just like you would come to expect from CRK. Stitching is top notch. No cheap plastic backing here, cloth throughout and the adjustable band is cloth as well with a metal buckle. Has a CR logo on each side as well. But the most interesting fact of this hat ??? It Is Made IN USA. I have probably 50 hats, and this is the First One I have seen Made In USA. Not only does Mr. Reeve make Quality Knives, but when he puts his name on something, he makes sure it is Quality...

I believe the pivot bushing is hidden inside the little button on top. Amazing CRK thought of such a clever way to keep it out of the way. The cloth over the button keeps the need for lubrication to a minimum !

I checked it on my rockwell checker and amazing enough, I am unable to get a reading. Perhaps its so hard that the rating is beyond the rockwell scale......yet another CRK innovation.

Its a high quality One_Piece Buckle. I am unable to find the screw off cap though..........

I put it on my scale I use to check ebay items, it weighs 3 Ounces.

Its an awsome hat. They come in Tan with Blue stitching also I believe. I am hoping I sell my mnandi I have up and will use the money to finally buy a umnumzaan. I think I will get the tan hat at that time also.
 
I picked one of these up today at the Pharmacy and they are indeed made in USA. Nice cap. Thanks for the pics.

I was told No Take Down Tools are needed and to treat it like a One Piece Knife.

The hat centers perfect. ( I have another hat that when you think its centered, you go and look in a mirror and its tilted sideways ) Yet another quality CRK item, centers perfectly, just like you would expect from CRK. No Flopping around while walking, top notch quality.

I checked and all edges are pretty dull ! I can not get it to shave a single hair :D Can you believe that ???

It looks prewashed as its nice and soft, nothing stiff here :D This one is not for sale or trade, I think I am going to make it a safe queen !!!

I just saw a pic of the tan hat, now I gotta get one of those too.......Hope it has the same tight specs :D
