Does anyone know who will be exhibiting at the upcoming Fall Canadian Knifemakers Guild Show? It's running on Sunday, October 19th, but their website doesn't give any information other than the date and location.

I have no idea which makers will be there, but my comment is aimed at what you stated about there being no information on the lineup for this show on the CKG website. I have noticed that this website is not well used for promoting CKG events. You would think that they would take the time and put more effort into promoting CKG events. They are also not very good at getting back to you when you email them with questions.

yes, this is a constant source of irritation for us showgoers...at least they will list the exhibitors for the April show in an upcoming issue of Blade.

AFAIK, the following will be exhibiting:

Brian Tighe
Greg Lightfoot
Neil Ostroff (True North Knives)
Kirby Lambert
Steve Vanderkolff
John Freeman
Carol Tichbourne (George may be there as well)
Eric Elson

The following will NOT be exhibiting:
Wally Hayes
Brent Beshara
Adone Tiz Pozzobon

Other makers who are usually at these shows include:
Mike Mossington, Lenard Perry, Jeff Diotte, Murray St-Amour, Wolfgang Loerchner, ProEdge, Jim Downie among others...see a review of the last show here:

BTW, as posted on the Canadian connection, us Toronto Knife Knuts will have a little pre-show on Saturday...email me if you are interested.

I'll try to find out, Murray. His daily work load is humungous! He's been attending so many shows in Europe that I'm actually surprised he's attending the Oct. 19 CKG show.

Just spoke to Bud on the phone. He fell at his son's house yesterday and has a severely sprained ankle. However, he STILL wants to attend the afternoon knife slobber at your house Murray, followed by the traditional pig-out at T&C.
