Finished up a little bowie, 7" blade, tried to keep it as compact as possible yet keep enough blade to get the job done if need be.

Settle a question for me please?

Is the handle material, Ebony, African blackwood or Black Linen Micarta?

Hi James, the handle is black linen micarta. Blade is 1095 forged, the gaurd/bolts/thong hole are stainless steel. I really want to finish one for myself to carry. Kenny Rowe does a nice inside the waistband sheath that i really like. Its on a single swivel and rough out leather. Very secure and discreet carry for a knife this size.

Do your knives look good. Particularly the handle shapes, eg. the Natchez Trace Bowie, this one, etc. I've never had the pleasure of holding one of your blades or cutting with one, but they look very, very nice Matt. A cut above.

That is one of the cleanest looking small bowies I've seen yet. Beautiful work..

Hi Bob, the gaurd is 416 s.s., it seems to work easier than 303 to me.

VERY nice Bowie there Matt. Nice High Power too!! Why is it knives always look better when they are sitting on or next to a good gun? They just go together like Salt and Pepper...:-)

It's mine, all mine, and it came in the mail today. Matt does wonderful work! Great attention to detail and just a wonderful person to deal with. It's elegant, fast, lght and very, very sharp. Now I just have to wait for the Kenny Rowe sheath!
