To me it was a no-brainier on buying the BCCI club knifes this year..I display and collect 112's!!! I felt if I did NOT have both the regular and the user in my display at next years 'Gator' show and in Atlanta at the Blade show I would deserve and get a good fussing by one or more of my fellow BCCI members..I'm really hoping I can find more Buck bucks to get one of the few left [35 made only!] WBC/DY collaboration 112's before they are gone.In my note to Jack with my order I said how nice it was that the 112 was picked this year as Soooo many different models are made by Buck and each one has it's own fan club in our collecting base...Did most of our members buy every club knife each and every year?? well no..Each of us has our own favorites and budjet that are part of our decision to buy or ....not to. All I can say was I was really,really, happy the 112 was picked this year..
 
Bucksway, are the user still for sale or does anyone else know??? It's hard to buy everything that comes my way... I pass on some sweet knives sometimes... You can't have everything... :eek: ... Thanks... ITE ....

There was no limit on the user you could order BUT I think the order deadline was August 15..Contact Jack Forseman [see BCCI site/newsletter] he might be able to add one if it's not too late..
 
Thanks Bucksway, I'm in the middle of moving right now... I'll try to call him in a few days... If I don't buy this small knife collection, that I've been trying to get... NO MORE BUCKS... :eek: ... ;) ... :confused: ... ITE
 
I did get the club fund raiser 112 bare butt, plum paperstone handle, drop point w/ S30V blade because I had the matching 110. I like the 110 and carry and use it. I may do the same with the 112. But I really wanted the matching pair. I try each year to support the club with some purchases and thought these two would be good utility folders. In 2004 I passed on the same pair with stag handles and drop point blades, looking back I wasn't going to do that again. So, on these I bit the bullet. DM

I think if anyone is thinking of buying a BCC club knife to email Jack. I think we could use the business, meet the Quotas, not be left holding the bag, delete old inventory, make a loan payment to Vido....etc, etc......

It's certainly an opportunity to own some rare and unique knives.

The club knives are always a good idea to buy. Short limited runs on both the club yearly knife or the fund raiser knives. However, not every knife issued sparks the interest of all the club members and I'm no exception to that. I buy the ones that I like and pass on the ones I don't care for. Sometimes.....sometimes I wish that I had picked one up that I passed on!
A year ago the club put out the heritage collection for the SMKW meet. I passed on them (the club still has some), I just got one of the 110's from that issue (sweet). I may need to get the 112 & 500 from that run. So, I say buy the club knives you like and buy them often;).

JB, I got the Duke from the Hertiage Series and like it a lot. Hope your able to get those you want. DM

I bought the DY/WBC Eagle Feather 112 instead of the yearly club knife or the paperstone user 112s. Generally the 112 is a little small for my hand, but the DY/WBC is sure a sweet knife. No, it's not in the user lineup right now.
 
I love drop points and S30V is rare in a 112..I plan on making that one a DUC and when it's time to display,well, it will go in the box! I think I will send it back to Buck and have it 'personalized'. I might have the blade mirror polished and/or engraved...I just love getting a box from Buck! I still need to get the Stag DP club 112 from a few tears back.The club Bucks with your number will ALWAYS be special,I like my 111 from 09 for dress up but with the gold on the blade I do not use it hard..
