Can anyone give me any info on this custom maker? I was told he made he started selling knives seriously in 1957. I recently took a small upswept bladed skinner with finger groove handle. The knife includes a well made sheath with a pouch for a sharpening stone. On the back the sheath is stamped Fischer Knives RT1 Victoria Tex. in sort of an oval shaped logo with the number 77901 in the middle. I have been told the blade is o1. I would like to get an idea when it was made and what it is worth.

Clyde still lives in Victoia Texas. He had a stroke about 10 years ago but learned to make knives with one hand. His knives are now like him. Rough and tough. Clyde is one of my heroes. He is listed in the knives 99 book for phone and address. If you cannot reach him that way let me know and I will find it here somewhere. I finally got one of Clydes knives after waiting a couple of years. He makes a two handed folder that I really like. Good luck.
