I just picked up one of these and have two questions. Has anyone tried wrapping the handle and, if so, what did you use? Second, what are people using to cap off the end and thus make use of the hollow handle space.

Incidentally, I recived a Mini Bushman sheath from Eric/Normark at
OnScene/Tactical. It fits like a glove and adds immeasureably to the pleasure of owning the knife, especially since the sheath it originally came with is average at best. Eric's work is really top notch and he's a great guy to deal with.

I have both of the bushmans and like them very much. Great blade for the price. I wrapped the handles with 550 paracord but I did not like the large profile it gave to the handles. Now I wrap them with tennis wrap. Feels more secure in my hand and doesn't feel too big and is easy to replace if it gets worn. I mostly keep mine tossed in a pack as a backup. I have found the best use for the hollow handle is to insert a length of wood as an extension to improve the blade as a chopper. But it's just adequate at best. Just a couple of ideas. Try different things and see what works the best for you.
