Cold Steel Outdoorsman

Without a doubt my favourite hunter and suitable for a host of uses Can anyone tell me about the Cold Steel Outdoorsman. It seems that CS produced it for a limited period of time about the same time they were introducing the Tantos and then withdrew it from sale WHY? any information would be appreciated Gary vandersluis

I thought they were good working patterns, though I never owned one. The Outdoorsman was never marketed very strongly by Cold Steel, as far as I can tell. I always thought it was a good compromise for people who wanted tanto-like point strength but also wanted a bit of belly.

Even so I'd still prefer the Master Hunter, though, as the blade is wider, edge is thinner, and point is dropped.
