THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS ON GERBER BOWIE, I AM GOING TO SWITCH UP TO COLD STEEL. MY QUESTIONS NOW ARE OF THE THREE DIFFERENT BLADE MATERIALS OFFER REGARDING TRAIL MASTER,WHICH DO I CHOOSE? DO THESE BLADE MATERIALS PERFORM(EDGE ENDURANCE,FINISH WEAR,STRENTGH)THE SAME AS COLD STEEL ADVERTISE? HOW ABOUT SHARPENING? IS ONE MATERIAL HARDER TO SHARPEN THAN THE OTHER? THANKS AGAIN!!!

Carbon V is the best hands down unless you are around salt water, it will rust. But it is both easy to sharpen and it holds an edge like no other. Can't go wrong with it.

"Can't go wrong with it"... hmm... Maybe so, but take a look at the thread "Is it Normal?/CS Trailmaster" on the general forum.

Before I purchased a Carbon V Trailmaster, there was no question about which steel I'd choose. But after the purchase, there are some questions, even real ones.
