Isn't the Commander supposed to be double ground? I have the pic of the two knives from the Emerson site as my Windows wallpaper, and from where I sit the edges look double ground to me.
However, I was recently in S & R Knives, a shop up here in Canada, and was handling a serrated Commander that was most definitely ground on only one side of the blade. I will assume that this was a recent production model, since they had just gotten a fresh shipment in from Emerson, and the CQC7B that I bought that night said "2000" on the blade.
What gives? My boss wants to buy me a Commander as a bonus, (Yeeeee Haaaawwww!!!) but I'm not sure if I want one that is chisel ground... (Even though it'll probably never get carried or used!)
