Commander vs Mini-Commander

This is a question for those of you out there who have both.

If the full sized Commander fits my hand perfect, would the Mini-Commander feel too small? I have pretty large hands and the Commander feels just right. The Mini's handle is only supposed to be .4" shorter, so is there much difference?

recently i got the mini commander and my roomate got the full sized commander. The large definitely gives you more to hold onto, and feels better in the hand, so if you are really looking for grip, i would go with the full sized Commander. I like the smaller size of the mini commander, and i think it is perfect for an EDC, but the larger version definitely has more to hold onto. Just keep in mind that the mini commader is really not a mini knife, it is about the average size, and feels very nice in my hand too. The full sized is just a mean looking utility knife that was a little too big for my every day carry, but if a great grip is what you are looking for, go for the fullsized. I hope this helps you out...

i have the mini, reg, and the super.
i love them all. but i was really blown away by the mini-c, i have large hands so i thought it would be just a little backup. but the knife palms very well. i love it
 
That was just what I was looking for. I think I will get one and try it out.
 
I've had a Commander for about 2 years, but for me it's too big to carry EDC and thus doesn't get much use beyond occasional fanny pack or other CCW when I can't carry a gun. It would probably be great in a belt holster if you wanted to wear one.

I bought a Mini for EDC last year after looking at several alternatives, because I like the blade design, handle ergos, and of course the Wave.

It's a great knife, one of the best production EDC folders out there IMO. Fits big hands fine, it's not small, it's just not as big as the full size and a lot more comfortable in your pocket.

Just bought a second Mini two weeks ago, an SFGH. The green G10 looks great and the fit and finish are terrific.
