Concerning laws on Butterfly knives

I know that it is illegal in Canada to own a butterfly knife (balisong). But what about training ones? Like this one found here at this website.

Are these illegal to own in Canada too? Or just in specific provinces? Because it seems that I can buy one of these in Saskatchuwan, but am I allowed to own it in Ontario?

Need help, I'm getting confused by all the laws and regulations.

As a rule, Benchmade doesn't export balisongs, including the 40T trainer, to Canada. Thus, if you find one for sale in Canada, it'll probably be from an individual who took it across the border himself. If it's a dealer, he probably brought a bunch across the border himself, or got them from an American distributer. Most dealers/vendors probably won't ship to Candada because of the customs risk.

As for the actual legality of a trainer, I really don't know. I would assume it's OK, since it's not a real knife. I doubt you'd ever get in trouble for having one. Getting one though will be the hard part.
