That dirty bastid Danbo introduced me to Tom at Blade Show two years ago and he is a really nice guy doing really nice work!

I must agree with all above that Danbo is, in fact, a dirty bastid and if Tom can put up with him he has got to be a hell-of-a-man (that goes for Nick, too! )...........I already know he's a fine knifemaker!

Besides Tom's fine piece, I also seem to recall a pic of one of Nick's knives in that issue, too... along with one by Bruce Bump, Ed Schempp, Tom Ferry, Mike Draper, Bill Burke (?) and one or two others from the Great Northwest! And wasn't the one of Nick's Danbo's new procurement??? LOL!!!!!

All great stuff!!!!

It seems this particular issue had a nice cross section of the talent we have out here!

Now... If Tom's going to be at Eugene this coming spring... I guess I'll have to see if I can get in on another fine maker's work! So many makers, so little money...
