Conversion to Automatic knife (switchblade)

Can anyone refer me to someone who is reliable and can do a quality conversion from standard folder to automatic?

I have a Kershaw 1050 Folding Hunter that I'd like to get changed over. I've owned it for nearly 30 years.

I wouldn't recommend it. Some Buck hunter style (including Buck, Schrade, Kershaw etc.) folders can't be converted due to the tolerances in the handle. There is a high loss rate and it would actually be cheaper to buy an already converted knife. If you are willing to risk it I'm sure some of the real auto nuts can guide you in the right direction.
