Mike had said at one time he was going to make a run of neck knives. This is the first one. He drilled the knife for handles, and after he already drilled them, I decided I didnt want handles, I wanted the knife as thin as possible. The knife has a very nice satin finish, and a good sharp edge. The sheath is leather, I think he plans to make kydex neck sheaths for future ones, I requested leather belt sheath for this one. I have 2 other Coopers with leather sheaths, and both are quite nice, but I think this is Mikes best sheath yet...very nice!! The overall pakage is definately a winner for neck/small knife fans like me...great job Mikey

Thanks Richard, glad you like it!! Man you take good crisp up close pictures!
I got the steel in least week and should be grinding out a couple dozen of these in a few days. I'm gonna try to have a batch ready by the middle of next month.

Nice lines but not enough holes in the handle! I would suggest sending it to Tom Mayo for a few more holes....

I really like the looks of it, but there are no specs mentioned. What steel, how long and handle options please.

Sorry, forgot to put the specs....oops

Blade length is right at 2 1/2", OAL is a hair over 6". Blade thickness is 1/8" of ats34.

I believe Mike will be offering this with various micarta, g10 and some natural handle materials. Hopefully Mike will come in and list the options he has decided to offer, as I am going by memory and dont wanna speak for him.

Thanks for the interest folks! The basic knife will have a series of 5/16" holes drilled and counter sunk in the tang for added grip and reduced weight. I can drill some of the blades to accept scales. Then you can let me know what you want on the knife. I've never worked mop or abalone or things like that, so you'll be limited to less exotic materials. Other than that, what ever you want, if I can get it, I'll put it on. Naturally there will be a cost adjustment depending on the material. You'll have choice of kydex or leather sheaths. The price will be $50 for the basic model. If you'ld like your name engraved on the blade, I can do that at no extra cost.

Rich, get some scales on that knife it looks naked!

Just kidding the knife and your pic looks great.

Mike, you should have Rich take pics of all your knives, and it seems that you are really adding more and more patterns, and at simply great prices...and don't let Tim hear about this free engraving offer.....
