Got a great deal on one on e-bay...grabbed it to try out putting on my own cord wrap & maybe lanyard. Any suggestions or tips out there? Thanks.

My suggestion - Don't stab yourself.

No, I'm not kidding. That's what I did when I tried to wrap my Stiff KISS MDP. 7 stitches and one missed softball game. Lots of fun telling the ER nurses that I stabbed myself. Oh, and did I mention my wife was 3 floors up, recovering from childbirth at the time? Every scar has a story, this one's a beaut.

Anyway, my real suggestion to keep you from worrying about my other warning is - keep the sheath on, in fact use a little duct tape to make sure it doesn't slide off the blade.

I used the Strider wrap:

The problem with the Kiss is that the wrap-able part of the handle is small, so the wrap won't go over the whole handle. I used climbing accessory cord, with the core in. Climbing cord has neat color choices, and different thicknesses. I think I used 3mm. I would go thicker next time, just to add some bulk to the grip.
