Counterfeit Strider

I know he says it's not a Buck but if you zoom in on the 4th photo from the left you can clearly see Buck logo on the blade!If you say a duck ain't a duck it still don't change the fact it's a DUCK!I reported this to ebay as a counterfeit and I see the seller has several more for sale.I doubt they will do anything.
 
I also just reported several of his auctions. Maggot.

No strider fan but even a thief shouldn't be robbed. More importantly though Buck doesn't need people thinking this junk is the real deal!

:thumbup:Thanks ohen,if enough people report the counterfeit Bucks to ebay just maybe they'll do something about that FLY LARVE!:barf:You're right,that knife could be sold again and the buyer would surely think it was made by Buck knives.

Of course he likes the US. People here buy all their crap! Sad, but true.

I hope if enough people beat sle-bay about these things Buck may get a little protection and sle-bay may raise their ethical standards above that of a $3 crack "date".
 
Ok, this dipwad is someone I've dealt with before (with him/her using a different name :confused:). I'm blocked both from bidding or sending him/her messages or questions. Either that or they all have my name on a blocked bidder list.

Someone else will have to deal with this one. :grumpy:

I noticed they only have 40 something sales.I bet you busted this guy and he started a new seller ID.It's a shame when you report an item to ebay as a counterfeit they don't jump on it.LOL,guess he don't want to be you're friend Dave.:thumbup::)
 
That seller ID isn't brand new, it's been in use since Sept. of last year. Could be they have a network that lets each other know when they have a buyer who is trouble so they can block them from bidding.
 
The other counterfeit Strider listings dissapeared,I guess ebay finally did get on him.the only other counterfeit listing I found was the Bayonet so I reported that one again.Maybe they'll do something about that seller as well.

Cool! Something worked because he had several listed and now none. Good job Tom!

I've been searching my rear off and can't find anymore fakes. If you spot any more, send me the links. The guy that sold me and then refunded the money on the "Bayonets" has closed his auctions for them and it said he still had over 10 sets of two left when he ended it.

He's trying to get me to revise the feedback now and I'm not sure what to do. I guess I should, but then there's nothing I can do if he relists them afterwards. I'm sure he would block me from bidding again. :confused:
 
I quit fooling with the sellers and kept on reporting items to ebay.I told them they were allowing seller to auction counterfeit Buck Knives and that seems to work.We'll see what happens with the fake bayonet that has the Buck Knives logo on the sheath.

Plumb, this is really funny in an ironic way; you trying to get these sellers closed down and you get blocked!! :D
 
I think Tom (skyhorse) got the fake Striders shut down by spamming eBay about their irresponsibility in letting them sell counterfeits. It doesn't appear from looking that the seller himself stopped the listings. They were just removed and no longer even show up as completed listings like the ones do that I got the sellers to shut down. If you do a search for their item numbers, they no longer exist except for the ones that sold.
