Bob, HOW big is your knife/gun safe? You have to have one of the most varied, and fantanstic collections on the planet!
 
That is a beautiful, rich looking wood that was used for those scales. I would love to get a look at the file work if possible.
 
Actually the blade spine has filework. I had pictures of it, but my memory stick got zapped with static and I lost like 20 pictures. :( I have to take new ones. I will try to do that and post more..
