Crawford frame/top lock folder question

Hello all,

I have recently bought a Pat Crawford folder. I think it's an older model (it's not on his website). The handle scales are bead blasted like the blade. The locking mechanism is like one on AG Russell's One Hand Knife.

I'm a little slow and can't figure out how to close the knife with one hand. Can anyone tell me how this is done?

If it's anything like the A.G.Russell One-hander, the easiest way to close it is to hold it with your index finger on the back of the blade, and your thumb sort of sideways on the stud, (looks like you just snapped your fingers) and push. Just make sure your other 3 fingers aren't in the way of the blade. If the Crawford has no scales, it will seem awkward, and will take a little practice, but should become easy enough.
