Figured this was a good place to stick this fella.

It's an '81, the first year of CC. Not sure what pattern it's based on or if it's one of Bobs. These guys are great pocket carry. The larger ones in this pattern are a bit on the big side.

The best place to stick that one is next to its cousin, a Bob Cargill peanut.
in my collection. :D:D

Really a looker,
James

Peanut frame with whittler blade configuration makes a Peanittler. Along the same lines as a Canittler. ( canoe whittler )

Glad to know what it is referred to by someone steeped in knowledge of Bob's knives, but I am still going to call it my peanut. Even though your description is 100% on target. Bob called it a peanut, at least he did to me, that is why I ordered it. I was on a tear then collecting just peanuts. Thanks for the enhancements on the photo. Or do you have one too?

As usual, some exceptional workmanship on view on those Cripple Creeks:thumbup:

Just wish I could find one when out for a walk in the dark:D

MCKGREG, would you so kindly QUITposting those pictures. I am on my second laptop since shorting out the first one from drooling down into the keyboard. I KNOW you have a great collection of Cripple Creeks but you are causing me to sin. LUST for Cripple Creeks.

Now all of that being said, Me just kidding, really have enjoyed seeing each and every one.

Do you have a family photo of all of them together? You could stitch the photos together, if it is too big for one good shot.

Looking forward to the next installment.
James

Some nice pieces. You don't see too many of the "One Arm" openers. Does the notch catch a belt when it's closed?
