Well, lost to me. Up until just a week or so ago, I didn't even know that Cargill had made one of these. Of all the hundreds of Cripple Creeks I have seen or talked about I have never come across one like this fella until now.

Nice to come up with a rare one, Greg!!
Brings you nearer to a complete collection! If that is possible!!??

Ya never know what kind of bends in the river are ahead. Yeah, it reminds me of the little Winchester too. This little tyke is from '87 and just a smidge over 3 inches. A bit shorter and slimmer than the Winchester. Now I'm wondering how many more are out there, if any, and what kind of scales are on them.
The game is afoot.

This guy will be in a knife roll soon and probably won't see the light of day for quite some time. Here's another shot just for the record.

Thanks for making me want another knife. You are an evil man.:D

That is a nice pattern. My fun money is scarce right now, so I all I can do is look and drool every now and then.

I know it hasn't the same heritage but I am really loving my Colt in that pattern. It's a great size for carry and just feels nice in the hand.

I've never seen a Cripple Creek like that. Very cool. I would hide that thing away like nobodys business.

Greg, I think you posted a picture of another Cripple Creek I've never seen before also. This was some time ago. It looked like a canoe pattern jack with orange/brown bone. You must have a great collection!

The colt looks like a teardrop pattern but the Cripple Creek looks a little more pointy on the end. Maybe they're both teardrops?

This one ? Notice the CC shield. These are pretty rare and us CC collectors are always on the lookout for them. The Canoe Jack isn't common either.

Oh yea, thats the one! I'll find one of those some day. What are the specifics on that one.

They're a little over 3 5/8" closed. Here's one with a different flavor of bone and pen blade.

A canoe jack . . . well, I never! Beautiful as all the CCs. Great match striker pulls.

Beware of the new knives that are being sold as Cripple Creeks. They are just "look alikes" made by either Queen or GEC with the Cripple Creek logo. There hasn't been any real Cripple Creeks made by Cargill in 15 years.
