Criswell ????

I just picked up a nice tanto it has black beadblast G10 handles and blade (Chriswell etched on the blade) With kydex sheath very nice knife (very heavy) I was told Criswell worked for Benchmade ,I know nothing about him was wondering if any of you have ever heard of him and where I might reach him.

I talked to him recently at a knife show. He used to work for Benchmade, he started doing fancy upgrades to Benchmade knives, and now he is a maker. His knives seem very heavy duty and they are pretty reasonably priced. Check out the Northwest Cutlery site, they feature some of his knives, and may be able to supply his address. Hope this helps.

Thanks I found my knife. I traded a friend for it .Feel like I did well . Criswell makes a nice knife at a great price.

Steve45, I have the Criswells and have been very happy with them. I think I have the clip point version of the knife you have. I also have a Barracuda 1 and great little neck knife called the Gambler. If you do get in touch with Criswell please find out if he still makes the Gambler and post here. I'd like to pick up another.

I have an 18" Wakizashi that Rob made me. A very nice sword for the price.

I can honestly say it's sharp I just cut my finger putting wax on the blade.
