CRKT InterFrame built handles

I'm not sure but I think it means the handle is part of the frame of the knife.
I have heard of intergrated liner locks where the liner lock is part of the handle the kershaw chive has this.
 
Is this not referring to the S2 titanium framelock? or am I totally off here?
