I sent a couple of my well used work knives to CRKT knives for repair. One was a M-16 14T which had developed a case of the front to back wobblies at the pivot point. I'd considered getting a torx driver and taking the knife apart and trying to fix it myself, but since I'm no craftsman, I decided it would be smarter to send it to the manufacturer for repair. The other knife was their Crawford Point Guard model, with a missing pocket clip and it had been resharpened many times. I e-mailed CRKT with my inquiry and they e-mailed me with their shipping address. After 2 weeks I received the knives back by UPS. The M-16 14T was replaced with a brand new knife. The Crawford Point Guard had been cleaned up, the edge grind reprofiled back to new and although I could tell it was my old knife from a couple of very minor dings in the handle, it was in factory refurbished, as new condition. Their charge...nada, zero, zip, not even return shipping. When they say LIFETIME GUARANTEE !!!!!, they mean it.
