I just wanted to throw something out there to the folks of BF land. A few months ago I met Paul Gillespie or Columbia River Knife and Tool at the AG Russell grand opening. There were several manufacturers represented there but Paul really stuck out in my mind. I told him I thought his company deserved a hand for the products they produce. It is nice to be able to buy a quality knife that won't take the better part of a paycheck to put in your pocket.
I have really been impressed with their products for some time now and it was nice to see that Paul was the type of guy you could talk to. He spent a lot of time with me talking about his company and even answered a lot of questions that my six year old son asked. When all was said and done he even gave my boy a hat pin in the shape of a knife. It made my son's day.
On the other hand, I saw a custom knife make that day who really put me off of his products by his attitude. A customer asked that he simply put his signature on a pieve of paper so that the guy at the engraving table could put in on the custom knife he just bought. The knife maker responded harshly, "I'm not gonna do that. I ain't got time." Wow! That one second it would take to sign a piece of paper must have been worth more that the knife his customer had just bought that probably cost a week's pay. I know I don't have the full story so I will not rant. Perhaps there is a reason for what he did. Oh well.
I just want to end with this...Paul Gillespie, or anyone from CRK&T who may be reading this, God bless you for what you are doing for knife owners everywhere. Keep up the good work and rest assured I will never hesitate to buy a knife from you.

CRKT is great, they turn out good products that are very well priced. There customer service is also good. All told they are very hard to beat for the money paid.
