Is it necessary to temper before and after the cryogenic quench? or is just tempering after sufficient?

Is it important to cryogenically quench immediately after hardening? or can you wait several days?

I do a temper at 125F to 350F for one hr before the cryo lower temp for small thin blades higher for big thick blades.

I have found that if the heattreat is done in a smooth curve from start to finnish the blades are much better.

This can be a pain,some steels run 10-12hrs so I do other things as I keep an eye on the heattreat.
