Has anyone used one of CS perfect balance bowies?? I have many of their other products, and am thinking of adding one of these specifically for throwing.

Any feed back? I have held them, and really like the feel and weight. (I am learning the no spin throw, and think this knife would work well for that).

Just wondering if anyone else has one to give feed back on.

It seems that the CS perfect balance bowie might be a bit blade heavy, which is exactly what you don't want when trying the no-spin throwing techniques.

This new version of the old Bowie Axe is incredibly tough and hits with an incredible amount of kinetic energy.

As for whether or not it works well with the no spin throw, Mr. Thorns website says any knife any distance; I would assume he meant to include this type of knife as well.

I watched his video last night and saw his 38:62 balance formula. This knife is far from that formula. He was careful to explain that this seemed to give the ideal no spin throw and that it was the best place to start. But once you learned the technique you could apply it to throwing anything with a point. I sincerely doubt that those two swords he was throwing fit the 38:62 formula.

thanks for the replies, Ookami, and Tonie Nicols.

I don't mean to post and run, but have been busy for a while.

38:62 balance formula? meaning what 38% of the weight in blade 62% in handle?

I hope I haven't said too much here as I would hate to be guilty of publishing information that is being sold in his video and book. God knows he's put in a huge amount of work and deserves to make a little money back from it. It's not like he's going to get rich.

I would advise you to get his video and book for a full explanation of his system.
