Curious about Old Timer 80T with bone bolsters

I am curious about this bone handled Schrade Old Timer 80T I got over 10 years ago, but I can't recall the details. Was this part of a special collection? If so, what was it commemorating?

One bolster bears the serial number 2006. What appear like blotches on the blades are fresh drops of oil. Thanks!
