Tired of the flimsy kung fu training weapons? :barf: I have a custom made PAIR of Deer Horn Knives, made by J.H. Henry & Son. These beauties are 1/8 inch thick and have a dark, hardwood handle. I have trained with them for a while. These are excellent blocking, trapping, striking and tearing weapons. They are used in pairs.

I can let these go for SOLD. This includes priority shipping in the USA. :D Would consider the right trade....

Please email me at parang1@comcast.net for more details.

Hello,
I know I said I'd make an offer.
I'm getting married this weekend so
I'm really busy. Sorry.
If I get a chance, great
those are awesome,
but we'll just have to see
if they're still availble in a day or two.
Now I need to get some sleep.

Are they sharp?
From your pick I can't tell if there is an edge.
thanks.
I am still very interested.
thanks

Why not?
Is it because they are practice or
is it because all deer horn knives are actually made that way?
(I thought the weapons were sharpened)

All deer horn knives I have worked with or seen were not sharpened. That does not mean none are sharpened. I have only been in martial arts for about 30 years, and only 6-8 of that was exposed to kung fu of some type. I was taught that they were for striking, trapping, blocking and tearing. That is how these were made. I did not commission the maker, I bought them from someone who met him. I did not ask why they were not sharp. None I had seen were. David

No problem. There may be someone who steps on a soapbox and swears all DH knives are sharp... The Chinese had a funny way with weapons. Once I think I have them figured out, BAM, I get hit with something I have never seen.

You are the only inquiry on them yet. Email me at parang1@comcast.net if you have anything to trade. I like 3.5 - 5 in utility or tactical straight blades, but will evaluate anything. I am pretty easy. David

Okay, I will take them!!!
I'll send you some pics of knives that I'll hope you'll consider as trades.
either way,
they're MINE!!!
