This may seem kind of stupid to some but I was wondering if Esee has ever done a custom run where the buyer could purchase, say an Izula II, with their choice of color and scales with their rat pack # on it.

I don't have a pack number yet, but once I get one, I'd pay a premium for something like that.

According to their website, I would imagine this would fall under the "private label section", which reads

"Minimum order (per blade style): 50 pcs. Artwork must be supplied in vector based line art (.EPS or .CDL files), one color only."

It would be cool, but it isnt practical for them to try and do one off knives. Custom scales for their knives can be found at http://www.the-knife-connection.com/buyoownesknc.html

Thanks for that link. The tiger stripes are awesome! (I'm a Cincinatti Bengals fan)

Yeah, yeah...don't pick on me...it ain't easy being a Bengals fan.

While I'm wish booking, I think an urban camo Izula would be cool too.

While we are on the subject maybe jeff can chime in. On the esee site if has the page about custom logos/engraving with a minimum order of 50 pieces. Can any joe blow do this?

You can always get it duracoated in whatever color scheme you like and then have it engraved with your RP number.

If "Joe Blow" has a business license and is a knife dealer, yes.

Just a question Jeff.
Why the business license and is a knife dealer? why cant one person buy 50 knives?

forum member jforbush (jforbusch?) does a great job of coating knives with either duracote or cerakote. You should really contact him, he can do whatever you want. His website has some great pics of his work. I talked to him about a little project but got caught up in some stuff to keep me busy.

The only individual sales we do are to active duty military and law enforcement. Otherwise everythign we do is through a dealer. Our minium order to become a dealer is 500 dollars (way less than 50 knives), so if an individual wants to do a project then all we ask is for them to be a legitimate business and to meet the 500 dollar buy in. If they want to private label then we have a 50 piece minimum.

What if "Joe Blow" would order them for a club or for scouts? I.E. the knives wouldn't be meant to go to normal sales?
(Though I have the feeling that all knife legislation issues aside, not many scouting organizations would like to offer fixed blades.)

One person can buy 50 knives but not at a dealer level or direct from us without being a dealer. Active duty LE or military can buy directly from us one knife at a a time though.
