Please take a minute to vote for which one you like better!

The results will help me determine how I focus my efforts for the rest of the year.
 
My first impulse was to say "bowie"--but I think you better give us your definition of "bowie" as opposed to "fighter" (or is that like defining "jazz"?). I saw a fairly heated debate a while back over what constituted a bowie, :rolleyes: and I've seen "fighters" that I would have called "bowies" (and vice versa).

It just occurred to me that instead of sounding like a smartass, I could simply check your photo album for examples :D I think that ring-handled fighter is one of the most graceful and impressive pieces you have done; I'll change my vote to "fighter".
 
Good advise, I looked at your site as well and decided I prefered the style of your bowies!
 
My definition of a Fighter is a modern style fighting knife. Micarta clad, satin finish, full Tang, Kydex/Concealex sheaths Etc...
The Bowies I intend to stay with a blend of modern and a Classic style knife, Leather sheaths.
I hope that makes sense.
 
I like both really, but I prefer bowies. There is just something about the look of a really nice bowie that gets me weak in the knees.
 
I prefer the fighters, but a lot has to do with the individual knife. How does it balance, will it be easy to hold on to when I get tired, does it have a steel butt, will the guard wear on my hand after an hour of use, how thick is the edge for heavy use, is it full tang? These are some of the things I look at.
 
I like fighting bowies.

That makes it easy :
count me in for the bowies!

give me a 15" slim Bowie with full tang and stag handle (slightly curved)
and i will have all the fighter i will ever need or want!

I'm putting my fighters in leather which muddies the definition but clarified my vote ;)
