I just bought this off ebay for around $50. I think its nice workmanship for the money. Its the only custom sheath I have so far and it fits a 7" ka-bar style knife of any make. It was made by a guy in Saxis, VA.

It looks good for that K-Bar. Well cut and proportioned.

If it was meant for a little better quality knife, more work sanding those edges, cleaner stitches, and an even distance on the belt loop stitching would go a long way improving the appearance.

It kind of puts me off to see a logo stamped in what looks to me like pretty rough amateur work.

I guess to tell you the truth I have no idea if I paid too much or too little, as this is my first and I have no idea what time is involved on custom sheaths....I thought it was a decent price and looked cool. I'm happy and that's all that matters. :p

For the guys that know a little bout sheaths, what do you think about the amount I paid? Ripoff, decent or a steal?

For a description and more pics, the guy has another listed on ebay, just search "custom kabar sheath".

If you're happy with it, then the price you paid for it and what WE think of it is irrelevant......but as long as you're asking......the main problem I have is the ebay part.....shows 4 pictures of the same front side(?????) but none of the back side....and now you know why.

But it looks like the sheath will fit your knife, will protect you and the knife, last a good long time, and that's it's primary purposes.
