For those with a manual or D/A LCC, I am now offering Custom work for them. The work is done along with my partner, Reese Weiland of Microtech fame. Most of the work will be done by me in Reese's shop, however, you may be fortunate enough to get some of Reese's grinds or polishs.
To take your LCC and make it all satin, or satin flats with high polish
bevel, brushed bolsters, and g-10 or micarta scales would be $100. This price is based on g-10 and micarta scales. If you wanted to upgrade to pearl, wood, or bone scales, the
price would be the $100 plus cost of materials for those other options. We can also anodize your bolsters or titanium components for the same price.
Just a high polish on a blade would be $50 for your MT or most any other folder.
Remember, that when we satin and polish a MT, the logo will be either ground
off or very light on the blade due to the sanding process. We wont do a
black coated blade as that would take a total re-grind and be lots more
money. We prefer to start with a stonewash blade, but will do a Bead blasted.
Other options like custom buttons, etc are also available.
