I had a spare JYD II laying around, and i collect blue/black G10 knives, so i decided to have it dressed up

here's the nearly finished product. Should have it back by thursday :)

LOL! Rival, i told you that knifemaker membership was worth it. There will be LOTS of people who want fancy scales for their ZTs and kershaws

well, i got the knife back with the custom scales, and it is absolutely AWESOME. There's really no comparison. It's like a whole new knife

I was expecting a lot less than i got. The scales as as close to perfect as you can get without a CNC machine, and i really can't find a single flaw.

Rival really went above and beyond. The centering of the blade is excellent (better than when i sent it) and he even sharpened it for me. It's shaving sharp along the entire edge.

+1 for this guy!
 
I know this sounds trite, but the pictures really don't do them justice. They are such a big improvement that i am looking at the one i still have normal scales on and finding myself not liking it

I might have to get my Bump done next.

Since they don't do it justice, maybe you should do a pas around and send it to me, then I will pass iron after a while, ect...... till it comes back to you. Shouldn't take to long. 10 years or so. LOL

In all seriousness, they do look great.

I got a friend who does the scale pimp jobs. Nothing better then making that knife your own. Looks very well done.
 
That looks killer. Very professional work. I love the JYD and love it even more with a handle in that color scheme and texture, I'd love to see more of Rival1314's work.
