re: eddie scott folder, what is the blade shape? does it have any other opening device (stud, disc, nail nick, hole?) or is it a pure flipper? any specs? what is the edge condition?

Mail sent. The Scott is pure flipper with no opening disc or stud. It is flipped by a ridged portion on the top back part of the blade like a Des Horn knife.

Looking at the Eddie Scott, I will say that it has some lockup problems and blade play. It could use repair work or a trip to the maker back in South Africa. The basic knife is good and I paid $250 plus shipping for to Knifeart. This is full disclosure because I have good reputation and I don't want anyone who might buy it to feel that they were taken for a ride.
