I have three custom knives on order. A Mv3 Viper Folding Knife Black-T Invoice date 4/30/97. A ES-1M Police, SERE Knife-Titanium Liner and Spring-ATS-34 Black-G-10 Handle Slabs Invoice date 11/4/97. Last, but certainly not least, a Rhino-Horn, Titanium Frame-G-10 Handles-ATS-34 invoiced on the same date.
I read on this forum where people's orders are being filled. I get the impression that the custom knives are being made in batches of the same model. That makes sense and seems like logical way to make knives. I was woundering if any one also has any of these models on order? Has anyone had to wait more than five years for a custom order? As my orders are comming up on four years it could make fer an exciting next year or so!
I have checked on my orders from time to time. The last time I checkd I was told that the knives would be made sometime in the next six months. That was over a year ago. I am not complaining. I am just a bit anxious. You all know the story by now. When I placed these orders the wait was suppose to be 24 to 48 months.
So if any of you fellow EMERSON fans have received a Mv 3, ESM-1 or Rhino (I liked the SRT model name better)lately I would like to hear from you.
I do not intend to sell any of these knives when I get them so please do not ask.
