These days it seems like every time I need to get something repaired its nothing but DRAMA. I will however, not, drag everyone down with all that. Instead I want to thank Rob and Hinderer. One of my XM-18 screw heads broke while changing a scale on Sunday, so, I shot Rob an email. Today, Yes, Today I received a new set via USPS Priority.

Hinderer knives ooze quality and so far Rob is keeping up with quality customer service. Keep up the good job guys

+1!!!!

Had a couple of mine break after taking apart to clean/lube. Less than a week later (including a weekend) had a new set in hand they wouldn't let me pay for.

TOP NOTCH customer service!

I also had a screw break installing a new scale. I emailed Rob and he replied promptly and sent me a complete set free of charge in about a week. He thoroughly explained the problem and the fix. I mus mention this was during the first batch of XM's with the flat head screws. The current ones have the new screws.

Top Notch Customer Service !

Simple. The new ones have way more material under the heads.

If it's sheared off you have the old ones. The new ones are imo unbreakable.Only thing that might happen is stripping the head, but that can happen to every screw.

Just PM Rob and he'll hook you up with a set...

He did send me a new set, does this new screw only apply to the 3.5" version? Mine is the 3".

Tim

I don't think the 3" and 3,5" are interchangable.Key size is different,that I'm sure of.
Recent production XM-24 and 3,5" XM-18 are the same.
