Well, after months, and months of going basically, "knife-less"...a Talonite EDC found it's way to me last night. I sold off all my customs more than several months ago, and have had only a BM 690, a large Sebenza, and a 2 tone L-UDT to keep me company, but I haven't even been carrying. Thought I was cured till last night. I hadn't even heard about this collaboration till then. At first, I had planned on selling it to help off-set the cost of my new toy, but I think I've decided to let the Sebenza go instead. ;) I just hope I don't hate myself for letting another one go, seeing how this is my 8th., :( but with this EDC, and my L-UDT, I don't see where I would need anything else on my side. Oh well, I've let too many of my Ralph's slip away too. ;)

How do you guys like yours? Is anyone planning on putting theirs to use? I'll soon have #8, without Darrel's logo on the blade.

I have one! I did not think I was going to be able to get a custom talonite prior to leaving for Nicaragua.
I sold about a dozen knives to get one of these when it came available. Had to get DR to "relieve" the non-lock side . . . now it is PERFECT! I carry it daily and have used it regularly . . . dropped it on the driveway two days ago . . . about cried! Only one TINY mark! Without doubt the nicest knife I have held. It is going to the mission field with me as a DAILY user!:D :D :D

BTW, mine has both logos!

Lucky number #13 for my 13th anniversary!!

I got number 10 a couple of days ago and have carried it since. I love it. Darrel and Rob have made the perfect knife. I love talonite! I say if it has a pocket clip on it, it was made to be carried. Enjoy it!

#01 of the 2BK's lives with me :) Shoot, I've been using it ever since I got it from Darrel! A knife like this is meant to be used. This is a very special knife to me, since it was crafted by two makers I am proud to count as friends of mine. This is one of those things in which if I let this opportunity pass me by, I would be forever kicking myself for not going for it :D

Man I want one really bad, I almost broke down and got one, but luckily I got something special coming from Darrel Ralph that will fill the void and will hopefully be my perfect carry knife.

Jason Burns, what do you mean by DDR had to relieve the non-lock side of the knife???

You guys should really post some pictures :)

Thanks,

Sorry for taking a while to respond . . . I have been travelling, getting some training for our work overseas.
Darrel does an awesome job on these and my lock was a little too tight for my tastes. Since I was planning on this being a work knife for Nicaragua, I asked him if he could cut away the non-lock side like the Camillus version is. He simply took about a millimeter off that side and it is easier to get my thumb on the lock-bar. I love it!!!!:D  :D

Sorry that I do not have the ability to do a close-up photo!
