I bought what I think is a Schade D Holder reject. It is unmarked and the bolsters are not evenly cut. The bear medallion is missing and in its place is a piece of bone.
I'm a knife maker and couldn't pass on a chance to check one out. I only paid $80 so, no loss. It was not advertised as anything, just a plain knife.
Question: are there a lot of these kicking around? I'm thinking about scrimshawing the bone. Looking for ideas!
