I thought I'd try to bring all the D2 Knife Pics together and include the info we can supply at this time.

Steel D2
Rc 60-61
Blade Thickness 1/8"
OAL approx 9 5/8"
Blade Length approx 4 1/2"
All four models have approx the same OAL and Blade Length
Handle Material Resiprene C in our new "mudder" pattern (this is a very comfortable, contoured handle)
Sheath- tentatively tan/brown leather
Warranty- Same Unconditional Swamp Rat Warranty

3 of the 4 (not including the Buzzard Bill which was elsewhere at the time this pic was taken ;) )

Eric, you forgot the Movie-Fu reverse grip with the bottom of your palm resting in the first groove, and your other hand held over the top in a parry/grab pose. I know it's not realistic but it'd really look cool! :cool:
 
Yep, that spear point sure is special! Not that you can tell us, but will they be under the $100 mark? :D
 
Eric, please tell me you aren't going to name it the "Groovy 1"! Although, on second thought, that might be a really hip title.

From what was said at Blade the price point will be around that of the Howling Rat
 
Sweet! Even the school budget will let one or four of those under the tree at the end of the year:D :D
 
First time I saw the pics of these I REALLY didn't like the groovy top, but now that I see the "controlx.jpg" pics, they make sense. I was sold on the second one, now I can't decide between them.

I love having problems like this! :D


Eric, these must become available within the next 5 days as my birthday is next week ;)


Edit: Almost forgot, what sheathes will come with these? (I hope it's the leather 'coot ones)

Bill most likely the sheaths will be similar to the Coot ones :D
 
that lil 'Persian Rat' is comin my way!

Eric, tell the crew to throw some tan dust into the handle mix....;)

It will go better with the brown sheath man! I do not mind payin $5 extra....

I bet these are so lite they would make a perfect IWB edc!
 
I like the 'Persian Rat' myself. I might even consider pair of kydex pants on the skinny little rodent.
