Well, I've read things about both metals making them out to be the worlds best, and i wanted to hear your experiences. I found a Talonite version for $200 from a dealer, and thought i'd jump on it, but am having mixed feelings. Rust resistance is mute as there is a little spring that will wear out before the blade anyway. I want something that will keep on cutting and be more resistant to edge wear then ATS-34. Thoughts?
I'm thinking i might go for a Simonich mock up and rescale the talonite with ironwood and maybe do some file work. Hell, it'll be cool either way, and at almost half price, a good deal. Just wondering which would be a better hard user.
Thanks guys,
E
