I heat treat the S90V at 2050, air quench, temper 500 x 2 hrs twice
For the 12.5% chrome D2 I use 1925, air quench, temper 500 x 2 hrs twice. Both will come out in the Rc59 range.
The problem with 2050 is you have to have the high temp foil. Normal foil will burn out when it hits much about 2000 degrees.
Crucible has the S90V (420V) but to my knowledge, they are out of the high chrome D2.
