Composite damascus blade. I forged out a twist billet, then cut it in half lengthwise and re-welded it inside out. Then forged the dagger shape, and then forge welded a random pattern billet around it for the edge.

Forged damsacus guard
Fluted damascus ferrule
Fluted African blackwood handle with twisted wire inlay
Fluted damascus pommel

The handle was ground and filed to shape so that it would be elliptical...none of that "perfectly round, turned on a lathe stuff ;) my hat goes off to you machinists that CAN do that).

I have to name them for BladeGallery, and this one is Estrella Cebra (e-stray-a say-bra) Or as my friend/hispanic neighbor would translate: Zebra Star

Thanks for looking :D

Thanks for sharing you make my day every time you do!

There are a few colored pages in the Knives 2003 reserved for knives that are so pretty that black and white cant show the artists true expressions. One of Nicks daggers is on one of those pages. This one is just as outstanding. Suburb craftsmanship Nick.
