what experiences have others had in dealing with Dan Burke i.e. if you have ordered a knife, 1. what did you think about the fit and finish 2. How was Mr Burke to deal with and 3. was he prompt with communications and delivery times? Thank you very much for your input.

I am currently collecting Trappers and am looking for a Slimline Trapper, Damsacus blades and MOP or Ivory handle. Tony Bose does not do a Slinmine Trapper because he says that is a Case pattern. Thanks for the pics!
 
Dan has several two blade jacks and trappers. His saddlehorn trapper is great. Although it's not in his catalog, I'm pretty sure he could make the slimline trapper. He also makes a great looking coffin handle jack.

One of my half whittlers is damascus. The pictures I have are not good and does not do it justice. It is fantastic.

Let us know what you come up with.

Thanks for the info,I am waiting for Dan's catalog, but will probably order a trapper with MOP and Damascus. This makes a nice visual combination.
 
After viewing Dan's catalog and talking with Dan, we have come up with a Wharncliffe Trapper with Mozaic Damascus and MOP. Also a
a Saddlehorn Trapper, BG42 with Stag handles. Can't wait!
 
You guys are driving me nutts (being a traditional folder freak) and I can not get on any more lists for a while.
