Ok first a small review, then pics.
The Knife: First thing that came to my mind when I opened(besides "Sh*t its here!) is the weight. Its a bit heavy, but a very comfortable heavy. Just enough to remind you its in your hand, but not heavy enough to be uncomfortable on your belt or while making fine cuts. The thumb ramp is really aggressive, but still comfortable, and it throws sparks better than a hacksaw blade. The contour of the handle sits very well in your hand. Drilling with it would be a chore, but otherwise I prefer it this way. This could quite possibly become my main outdoors blade. Its a simple knife, nothing flashy and it gets the job done. I love it!
The Sheath: I got design #1. It is an extremely well crafted sheath. Once you remove the knife about 25-30 times, it doesn't hold it as tight and allows for a less awkward draw.
Edit: The sheath holds the scout fire steel ok, but I don't have an Army model to test out.
Pictures!
Here is a glamor shot
Does this sheath make my butt look big?(no help needed lol)
here is a pointy stick with some notches
Hammering said pointy stick into the ground
Here it is throwing sparks
Smoke
I missed the flame....damn
Here is a picture I took friday, it actually throws sparks better than the saw blade I use.
Still Shaving sharp(I went through a few sticks, trying to find one that hadn't been eaten up by bugs, So I did alot more cutting than the pictures show)
And last but not least! Obligatory Customer and Maker picture. I am in Texas so I couldn't take a picture with Dan. Also, my face came out weird in the picture....so I gave my self an awesome beard to hide the ugly
Thanks for the amazing knife Dan. I absolutely love it!
