Bob,

Just received the Dark Nite Fighter! It's absolutely awesome! Great balance and heft. This is definitely something I'd be proud to carry any time. I love the end cap detail on the handle. And the sheath is super... just as promised.. lots of built-in versatility. Great job, Bob.

Frank :D

Folks,

Are very happy with my Dark Nite. Feels good in my hand and when I do the 12 angles drill. The knife is hefty, but not sluggish (Yes, that sounds like I'm <= a grade "C" ad writer  ) FWIW, knife looks cool to me, including the subdued, mottled blade color. Like the file work on the butt cap and guard. And, Robert made a lefty sheath for me. That's not a small point, as my fellow lefties know.

The swells, bumps and depressions on the handle make for a very secure grip. Their welcome presence was not obvious, to me at least, from the pictures and descriptions in this thread.

Many thanks to Robert for making the knife, and to Spark and Bladeforums for making it possible for me to find out about it.

Congrats Alan, that is one cool looking knife.

Bob

Is this a 1 off sort of thing or can it be ordered? Like when the OT picks up in a month or so. That is one of the most pleasing designs I've seen. Very nice!! Very businesslike also.

Whoops.... Just noticed that 2 people have one. Good, that means I may just get lucky too.

Rob

Very nice! I really like the different look and finish!

Probably good I didn't see it sooner:D
My toys have been getting the best of me lately.

Please let us know when others become available.

Thanks,
