Darrel Ralph blade styles

[Pipes]

Can someone tell me the difference between the "fighter" and "dominator" blade styles? A picture of each for comparison would be great too.

Any help would be appreciated.

The "dominator " is a "fighter style" blade. It has a recurve blade with a lot of belly and a wicked edge. You can check Darryl's website for pictures.

Thanks for the information. I had to make a decision today between the two and I went for the Fighter. I don't think I could make a wrong decision! Special thanks to Darrel for responding and for making such cool knives.

Pipes, I have the Dominator (I prefer the large sweep) and let me tell you the EDC is a real beauty. Isn't an aweful thing when your biggest decision is not between maker's, but between blade styles? Enjoy

Pipes - enjoy your new purchase! Like Bladelaw I have the Dominator EDC but in carbon fiber. I've also got an EDC Illusion w/ fighter blade on order. Yup, you cannot go wrong with either!

Well I received my EDC with the Carbon fiber cutout scales and the "fighter" style blade today.

Wow! My first impression of the knife is totally positive. Thanks for all the input on the selection of the blade. And thanks to Kevin from Edge Equipment for getting me the exact knife I wanted.

Pipes: Enjoy your knife. After talking to Darrel, I suddenly discovered I have a fighter blade, not the dominator. [it's not that easy to tell the difference]. It doesn't make any difference though, because they are both great blades.
